Save Scotland's Seas Marine Mural Project (September 2013 - January 2014): Design of mural for instillation in Plockton High School to illustrate the diversity of local marine life and educate people on the importance of marine protected areas. Project leader, Commissioned by Scottish Environment LINK.
Marine Science School Animation Project (April - June 2013): Worked together with a local film-maker (Andy Crabb) and Benderloch Primary School children (Argyll) to create a stop-frame animation about marine life and food-webs. I voluntarily provided some of the science education, organized a beach field trip and also assisted with the final animation. Scottish Association for Marine Science, Oban.
Cape Farewell, Scottish Islands Expedition (2011): Cape Farewell is an art-science collaboration project, and the aim of this expedition was to investigate the impact of climate change on the cultures and ecologies of Scotland's island communities. I took a group of artists to a beach on the Uist islands to highlight the importance of seaweed in the local ecology and community farming practices, and discuss the prospects of seaweed for biofuel.
